Privacy policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026. This policy explains what data Wiki Binder collects, why, and how you can access or delete it.

Data we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address, a chosen username, and an encrypted password. If you sign in with Google, Facebook or Discord, we receive only the basic identity information those providers share (an identifier and, when available, an email address); we never receive your provider password.

While you play, we store your game data: your card collection, credits, trades, auctions, boosters, achievements, favorites, wishlists, showcase layout and account preferences. We also keep security and abuse-prevention records (such as captcha results and report histories) and technical logs needed to operate the service.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to run the game: syncing your collection across devices, powering trades, auctions and leaderboards, preventing fraud and abuse, and answering your support or feedback requests. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Third-party services

Wiki Binder relies on a small number of processors to operate: Supabase (authentication and database hosting), Cloudflare Turnstile (anti-bot verification), and the social sign-in providers you choose to use (Google, Facebook, Discord). Encyclopedic data comes from Wikidata (CC0) and images from Wikimedia Commons, which retain their own licenses and attributions.

Cookies and storage

We use strictly necessary storage only: your sign-in session and interface preferences (language, layout, theme). There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Data retention

Your data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is erased or anonymized; game transactions that involve other players (for example completed trades) are kept in anonymized form so their collections remain intact.

User data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time, directly from the app:

  1. Sign in to Wiki Binder.
  2. Open Account, then the Security tab.
  3. Use the Delete my account action and confirm.

Type DELETE to confirm. Deletion removes your profile, username, email, collection, preferences and social links after a seven-day waiting period. You can keep playing and cancel from Security until permanent deletion begins. Unsettled trades or auctions delay erasure to protect other players. If you cannot sign in, you can request deletion by contacting us at the address below from the email linked to your account.

Your rights

Depending on your location (including the EU/EEA under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Most of these actions are available directly in your Account pages; for anything else, contact us and we will answer within a reasonable time.

Contact

For any privacy question or request, contact the Wiki Binder team through the in-app feedback button or by email at the contact address shown on wikibinder.com.

Legal notice

Wiki Binder is currently in beta. Credits, cards, auctions and trades are part of a fictional economy: they have no monetary value and do not constitute a payment service.
